NEW TRACK: “Girls” By French Horn Rebllion ft. JD Sampson & Fat Tony
French Horn Rebellion collaborated with The Knocks’ JPatt for this nu disco track “Love Is Dangerous”. The remix by Brooklyn’s Chrome Canyon is part of the Love Is Dangerous EP. Last month, the French Horn Rebellion-brothers released their Poster Girl EP with praise from Rolling Stone and Jay Z for their tracks, and supported OF MONTREALon their American tour.
Written, produced and mixed by brothers Robert and David Perlick-Molinari, released their debut album The Infinite Music…which warps the fabric of dance, electro, rock and funk and was possibly last year’s most ambitious, multi-faceted and engaging debut album. Crucially, the album also follows an intergalactic narrative that tracks the physical and emotional journey of an unknown French horn player, with a story that loops into itself – being infinite. “The album is basically the result of countless hours in the pit orchestra of operas, and thinking how fun it would be to score something like that, only with hot beats,” says Robert. The band have also remixed the likes of Sleigh Bells, MEN, Two Door Cinema Club, OMD, Savoir Adore and Alex Winston.
