Seismic-Sound Preview: Hologram plays Barboza on 9/18. DON’T MISS!

September 18, 2012

If you haven’t heard of the Stockholm Swedish band Holograms; I have a good feeling you will hear a lot more about them in the very near future. Giving you the sound of Punk, and infiltrating that sound with some wide veins of New Wave. Their final product synthesizes the drudgery of dismal existence with a lust for something better.

In defiance of their decrepit instruments (a collective estimated worth of a handful of Kronas) Holograms emit a seemingly impossible energy. Their sound has proven far too large for Stockholm’s charred pavement and empty streets; leading us to think it’s about time for all of us to get a little drunker together. Photo courtesy of Jennifer Petersson

I saw them in Vancouver Monday night where they played to only 50 people including bartenders and waitstaff – I counted. Seattle don’t miss out like Vancouver did!
